Do I have a legal case?

Oh boy the folks are going to love this question.I cant wait to read the answers you are going to get. They are all going to tell you you can sue and get millions in compensation, but the truth is you own a car that stinks of smoke. That is now your problem. I will answer as the lawyer for the dealer, when you took the car from our lot you were happy with it, you stayed and watched the guys clean it for you and for three weeks you have had no problems. Someone must have been smoking in the car since you left our lot, perhaps one of your friends or your husbands buddies when he went to the ball game. You see how from a practical point of view there is not much you can do . I suggest the easiest and cheapest thing for you to do, is take the car to a detailer and have him steam clean it. You could always ask the dealer that you bought the car from if he will accept the tab for it, he may agree but do not expect him to pay some fantastic amount, be reasonable.
