19 Year Old, victim of fraud on craigslist, what can she do?

My 19 year old daughter recently fell for a money forwarding scam on Craigslist after applying for a job. Basically it was the oldest and most popular scam on the books... he "hires" her as his personal asst, then sends her a check telling her to keep a portion for herself and take the rest and wire transfer to an orphanage as a donation in his name. Stupid... ? Absolutely. Anyway, other than filing a police report, what recourse, if any, does she have? The Bank cleared the check on the day she deposited it without her having sufficient funds to back it... is the bank at all liable? Look... I know this is her fault so save your time from sending a sarcastic answer. This is serious and I am really seeking solid advice here. Thanks...
