Car Accident: Rear End Collision, Who is Liable?

This is very similar to the accident that I got in 1 few years ago. Almost always, the person that rear-ends the other driver is at fault no matter what the circumstances leading up to that may be. High CPK followed by Normal - Lots of Chronic Pain... Thoughts?

Both the principal and the vice principal- the disciplinarian- were the head football coaches. My brothers bullies were the star football players. The bullies got off even after numerous reports and a great deal of witnesses. My brother, however, was scolded for being "annoying". Also, in middle school, when my brother was close to suicide because of the bullying his grades were the least of his priorities, naturally. One teacher said, in front of the class of thirty students, "Is this the only class you don't try in? It's not, because these (X, Y, Z) are your grades in these (A, B, C) classes". I also have an IEP for reasons that I would not like to disclose for identification purposes. That same teacher also said to me in front of the class, "It's no wonder you don't have any friends, especially when you (have this IEP)". We reported both of these incidents to our administration on two different occasions and nothing was done. What can we do? My family would love to see the school (administration, especially) really screwed over. They caused my brothers health problems, and my family to suffer.

How could I motivate myself to lift weights and exercise?

I used to do heavy weights but after a week or so I got bored because it's boring. For example I do around 100 pounds on each side and after around 12 reps I get tired and have to rest for like three minutes before doing 4 more sets, which is really boring. Should we buy his brother's house rather than be a co-signer?

My husband's brother is separating from his girlfriend, and needs to refinance the mortgage to get it in his name only. I'm assuming that this also to take her name off the title. The problem is he does not qualify for the refinance alone. I'm not sure if it was because of credit or declared income. He does make enough to pay the mortgage and has done so for the past 5 years. She never contributed. I think he would like us to co-sign the loan, but I know that this would make us entirely liable for the home. I don't think I want to put my credit, and financial future in his hands. Besides, by co-signing the loan we are saying that we can afford to make those mortgage payments ourselves. If this is the case, why shouldn't we just buy the house outright, and then he can pay us rent. Would it be better to buy it outright and rent it to him, or co-sign with the understand that if he defaults then we gain entire possession of the house so that we can sell it to pay the debt?

I am currently facing criminal harassment charges for contacting a person's job and sharing information (all true) about their alcohol abuse and psychiatric issues in an attempt to get them fired. They were put on probation--not fired--and then terminated months later when the employer laid off 10% of it's workers. Am I being paranoid or are my worries justified?

I live alone in an appartment that's in a bad neighborhood (strip club and crackhead motel beside it yards away) and about three weeks ago someone tried to break in through the window. My upstairs neighbors scarred him off but ever since then I have been extremly paranoid at night. By paranoid I mean I usually don't get to sleep before 3:00 in the morning and when I do try to sleep I sleep for a few minutes at a time and then im up at every slight noise. That usually goes on until it is daylight outside. Then I go into a deep sleep. The hospital diagnosed me with paranoid schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, and an anxiety disorder. To tell a little about my past mental state, earlier this year when I was not on meds I was convinced that members of my family where trying to murder me. Then I would have psycotic episodes involving me thinking a monster was entering my dreams and controling my actions. I honestly don't know if this paranoia I am experiencing is reasonable. I am on heavy psych meds right now and night is the only time it happens. I have resorted to desperate mesures to get to sleep and all any of it does is sidate me. That includes pot which does not make me paranoid but lazy and xanax that is not mine. The only thing that can make me sleep is if I take 2 or 3 mg of xanax with my five psych meds. Is this something my doctor needs to know about or is a moove needed. Also other than this I am doing very well with my mental state so that is why I am hesitant about telling him.

I'm originally from Bangladesh, a small country in South Asia. Actually, my parents are from there. I was born in Italy. But my roots are from there. I went there a month ago to see my sick granddad. And I am sickened by how the men their treat their women. They treat them like cattle and property. It is a highly patriarchal society. The women cook, clean and look after the children and don't work. 99% of women there are traditional housewives who bow down to their husbands and kiss their feet. My mom however, is a doctor. She is one of the very few women who work. But she still cooks, cleans, looks after my little brother and works. My dad is unemployed at the moment. He doesn't do anything. He just eats, sleeps and goes to the toilet. He occasionally helps my mom. And my parents live in Australia, which is a western society. Sometimes, I wish I could teach my dad a MAJOR lesson. But how? I honestly don't understand how my mom could bear all this. My dad is not that bossy unlike the other Bangladeshi men. He does listen to my mom and he DOES what my mom tells him to do. But he just has a know it all attitude that annoys me. Well, anyway this isn't about my family. It's about my auntie and other women who go through the pain. My auntie is among the 1% who go to work in Bangladesh. She told me her everyday scenario from first thing in the morning is waking up, making breakfast for husband and then apparently getting scolded and getting divorce threats from her husband for making a crap breakfast, then going to work in a crammed bus, and then taking bs from sexist boss. And the rest of the 99% of women don't even get the chance to work because if they work they APPARENTLY will become DISOBEDIENT to their husbands and fathers and become too smart. They stay home and lick their husbands feet and tolerate their BS. The average Bangladeshi woman is dependent on their male relatives their whole entire life, from birth till death. From birth till maturity she is dependent upon her father. After that she is married off & is therefore is dependent upon her husband. And when her husband is old and retires she is dependent upon her son (if she has one). In marriages, the girl has to go live in her husband's parents house where she serves her husband & in laws, especially her mother and father in law. After that she is pressured by husband & in-laws to give birth to a son. I have seen guys go as far as divorcing their wives and marrying new ones because their ex wives have failed to give birth to a son. The women have no say in public matters and society related issues. They are are usually told to shut up because they "don't know anything". I am horribly disgusted with this disgusting attitude towards women and relieved at the same time because I am lucky enough to not be in their shoes. I have my issues but I get angry every time I'm around her brothers and mother..... The mom is rather large and lazy and both of her boys have autism.... I'm not making fun of them but idk. IMEI numbers being used to bust criminals?

Say a criminal had two SIM cards. One was used for legit work and to talk to family, but the other was used for nasty illegal activity, however both were used on the same single phone with a unique IMEI number. Could the police etc find out that calls made on both SIM cards were both made on the same phone which has the same IMEI number and then bust him? This is assuming the criminal couldn't afford a second phone or was too incompetent/lazy. Any thoughts?

Why is my mom so mean for no reason?

She calls me dumb and annoying. Like if I am doing chores( which I do voluntarily with no reminders or rewards) and i don't know where something goes she says I am just dumb and will never be able to function in th real world etc etc. She does buy me stuff I want, but I don't really ask for much. When I was little and I would get a large amount of money and put it somewhere safe she would almost always come and take it when I was at school without even asking me. She would always say she needed it to pay bills or pay for a camp I was doing. After a while of her doing this I started to get annoyed and would tell her that she needed to ask for it and that she shouldn't take my money and she called me a spoiled brat. she doesn't take the money I earn though from working and babysitting though. I take care of the family cat, i wash dishes, and i clean when stuff needs it. The only thing i don't do is laundry and cooking. Still, my mom calls me a lazy pig. I think she is angry because she has this hormonal disorder. I can see how she would feel depressed about having it, but does she have to take it out on me? Is it normal for a mom to act this way?

I think the best thing for you is to just recognize that it's a problem. It'll help you to stop. Maybe set rules for yourself about how much you'll allow yourself to eat all this junk food, and reward yourself somehow when you follow them. I don't think your boyfriend is being supportive enough. It's a psychological thing that you're going through, and I guess he just doesn't understand that. He's partially right in that you need to exercise some self-control here, but it'll take a lot of work. If my car is hit at a gas station on the passenger side door, who is liable?

I was at the gas station, a women was 10 feet away from my car and had time to stop before hitting my passenger side. I was driving straight on one side of the gas station store (The air pump was on the side I was driving from). I was using my right blinker to turn into the gas pumps area around the corner of my side. 10 feet away a women drives straight into my vehicle on the passenger side as I am about to finish getting off the side of the building. Technically I should have been in her line of site at this time, the front of my vehicle. As I am pulling out I seen her coming and she hit the passenger side. I was not taking a sharp right turn either and thankfully I didn't.. She was driving from that area where the gas station door was located but not where other cars park to pump gas. Who is liable in this accident/incident? Her bumper only had a few scratches while my door is indented completely and the top of the door is gapped bad where rain can get in and the bottom of the door is indented severely. The right fender is hanging off a lot too. Thanks.

Does Directv have to replace my TV?

I had Directv installed recently..When the technician plugged the cables into the TV for the first , there was a large pop, and my TV faded to black, then came back on. The Tech asked me if my TV had ever done that before. I said no. When he left i noticed my TV picture was all green, and i cant fix it, its not an installation issue. My dvd player is playing green color too. Basically wondering.. Is directv liable to replace my TV? Should I pursue it? They ruined it?

Actually, the three first posters are wrong. It is called Dram Shop and bartenders and cocktail waitresses are supposed to know when to cut people off. It doesn't matter if they are famous or not. My father was killed being a drunk driver and my mother sued the bars and won. As a cab driver now, I have noticed that today's bartenders and cocktail servers don't care about cutting people off. I cannot begin to tell you how many pukers I have refused service to.

HELP with friend who causes built up anger!?!?

were both juniors. weve known eachother since elementary. shes always treated me differently than her other friends but over the years its gotten worse. theres so many small things she does that really adds up but im gonna just say some of them because theres so many. one, she always acts like shes better than me. ab a year ago she had moderately bad acne and i never once said anything about it. infact when she complained i would insist it wasnt bad. and now i have a few zits on my forehead and she makes comments about it to try and bring me down. also shell always compare tests and when she very rarely does better than me shell rub it in my face. but she does these things pretty sneakily, which is why it angers me even more. two, im the only one out of our friends that has a license and she always asks me to do something. which is fine but i like to keep to myself and am not big on going out so i usually say no not tonight. and she will seriously beg me over text for atleast an hour and say how i am lazy and never wanna do anything with her anymore but do with other friends. which is true but only because she annoys and angers me so much!! and sometimes i give in to her begging. another thing is she makes small things a big deal. like when she gets a "boyfriend" who she will only text and make excuses not to hang out because shes too shy but she wont admit to it and she acts like shes so grown up to have a boyfriend yet she cant even hang out with him! she is shy but somehow hides it from others by acting stupid. like when she has to talk in front of the class she talk like shes high and laugh at stupid stuff. Does This Sound Like A Fun 12th Birthday Party..........?

My sister is turning 12 in July, I'm planning her party for her. Locked back gate what to do .....?

ok, im required to mow the lawn in my lease , i just moved . but there is a lock on the back gate to were i cant get back there to mow the grass. i informed the landlord but havent heard back from her. should i just remove the whole latch the lock is on and then replace it with a new lock or what. i dont want her or myself to get in trouble with the city if the grass gets too high. and if that should happen with the city would i be liable if they have to mow it and charge the landlord ?

Can our property management legally switch our gas bill into the owners name without asking?

there is much more to the story. my husband and i rent a house through a property management company. we have lived there for a year now.2 months ago, the prop. mgt called and said they switched our gas bill into the owners name, and that we would be getting mail for the owner and that we needed to give that to them. we come to find out the owners are refinancing the home as "owner occupied" to get a better rate and even had the prop. mgt ask us to lie for them if anyone came by and asked if the owner lived there.i call the gas company and our account has been closed,and now the prop mgt wants us to pay the gas bill that is currently under the owners name. i know all this is not right, but do we legally have to pay the gas bill if its not under our name? in our lease agreement all it says is we are liable for paying utilities, but if it isnt under our name im not sure.

Alright, so I'm 13 years old and I've been sleeping in a lot. I usually go to sleep from like 12-2 am, and then I wake up in 10-12, so I basically have like a 1-12 hour sleep (mostly 10).
