Is it legal for an 18/19 year old student to have a relationship with their teacher?

It's legal, but in sixth form it would be a disciplinary matter for the teacher, with both their school and in respect of their registration. It's much like a doctor having an affair with his patient, there's no crime committed but it's considered a breach of professional rules.
