No Bake Cheesecake substitution?

I want to make a simple no-bake cheesecake with cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. The recipe calls to add a third of a cup of lemon juice which I don't have. If I added a third or half a cup of sundae syrup, would it still come out right?
